Inflatable water slides, bounce houses, jumpers, obstacle courses, etc. (both dry and wet) function by continuous airflow. A powered air blower continuously pumps air into the inflatable while it’s in use, and air escapes through the seams. Therefore, it’s normal to hear air “hissing” out of the inflatable or see bubbles in the water slides. You’ll need an electrical plug nearby or a generator to power the air blower. We will provide a cord to keep the Rental Equipment within 75’ of the needed outlet. If you are not within 75’ of an outlet we need to discuss an extension cord or a generator (which is preferred).

How can I pick the right inflatable for my family?

When shopping for a bounce house, pay attention to your family’s level of activity, environmental set-up limitations and product features. Some bounces houses are strictly for bouncing and that’s all you want. Then get the largest floor you can. If your kids like to run through obstacle courses and slide, then consider a combo unit with built in climbing walls, tall slides, etc. If you also want a way to cool off in the summer heat, consider a combo unit that also has a small pool/water slide.

What size bounce house should I get?

Whenever possible, rent the largest, most diverse inflatable that is within your budget. The more room options kids have to play, slide, bounce, climb, etc., the more fun they will have and less likely they’ll get bored

Safety & Usage Questions

Can adults go in/on the inflatables?

The manufacturer suggests a total maximum weight and an individual maximum weight. However, if adults enter to monitor young toddlers or to take pictures, it should be fine – Use common sense. Commercial inflatables are made of high quality materials so the manufacturer’s recommendations are just a guideline.

Will the bounce house harm my lawn?

No, during casual usage, the inflatable will not harm your lawn. To ensure minimal damage, place a tarp beneath the bounce house and use ground stakes to anchor the bounce house during usage.

What if the inflatable is up and it begins to rain?

Bounce houses should not be used in poor weather conditions (e.g. high winds, heavy rain, thunderstorms).

What are the rules when using a bounce house inflatable?

Generally, no shoes or sharp objects (e.g. exposed metal zippers, hair clips, etc.) are allowed. Avoid rough play (e.g. wrestling, hanging onto the netting, flipping). Anyone with medical conditions should not enter (including pregnant mom). Eating or drinking inside the bounce house is not allowed and you could be charged an additional . Keep children away from the blower. Ensure the electrical source is safe and stable before use.

Does an adult supervisor need to be present?

For the safety of your children, it is highly advisable to supervise them while they are using any inflatable ride. You will need to limit the number of children in the inflatable, monitor their behavior, and make sure the big kids don’t over knock over the little ones.

Do I need to keep the air blower on at all times?

Yes, the blower is required to keep all of our inflatables inflated. The unit is typically no louder than a hair dryer and uses less energy. When play is over, make sure everyone has exited the inflatable, turn off the blower, and the inflatable will collapse onto itself. Please do not move the inflatable once it is deflated as our staff will roll it up and remove it during the designated pick up window.

How do the kids get safely in or out of the inflatable?

Bounce houses, water slides and obstacle courses all have a safety step that is part of the unit. Kids can crawl up into the inflatable through a small opening or on a step. When they need to exit, they will slide out feet first. An adult should be available to assist kids as needed.

How many kids can use the inflatable at one time?

The number of people allowed will vary by the size of the unit and the kid’s age/size/activity level (older, hyperactive kids v. younger, gentle toddlers). Also take in consideration how quickly kids move through the inflatable. The manufacturer’s guidelines are for your safety, but always use common sense. The recommended weight and number of children to maintain order and safety on the inflatable will be defined within the guidelines of your Rental Agreement.

Are you Insured?

Yes, we are fully insured with $1,000,000 / $2,000,000 general liability insurance. In addition, all of our inflatables are inspected and approved by the Texas Department of Insurance annually.

Are your inflatables safe?

Yes! Commercial inflatables are safe, fun alternatives to trampolines and other event ideas, and have become a party tradition. They are strong and lightweight, easily handling the constant climbing, bouncing, jumping, sliding and pouncing by kids of all ages. It’s important to follow the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines to ensure your kid’s safety!

May I tip the crew or staff?

Tipping is always welcome and appreciated, but not required. We strive to give you quality service and our staff would appreciate being recognized if they perform their job well for you and help make your event a success.

Can I pick up the inflatable and set it up myself?

Unfortunately no. Our insurance requires that we deliver the unit to you to ensure it is setup properly and safely.

Does your staff stay on-site once you deliver and setup?

It depends – some inflatables require that we staff your event for proper usage and safety while others can be dropped off at your event location and picked up later that day or early next morning. Attendants for your event may be requested at an additional cost.

How long before my event will you deliver my inflatable?

We typically deliver about 1 hour before the scheduled start time of the usage of the rental. If you need us to deliver your unit earlier than that, there may be a small additional charge for early arrival/drop-off.

Will you contact me on the day of the delivery?

Yes! We will call you the morning of your event and confirm weather and other event details before we leave for your location.

How long does it take for setup and take it down?

Setup time various based on the type if inflatable your rent from us. Typically a small to medium bounce houses or combo unit with slides can be set up within 30 minutes. Some of the larger obstacle courses and water slide rentals can take up to 1 hour to setup.

What do I need to set up the unit?

All you need is a relatively flat, open area with no overhead limitations and a power outlet nearby.

How much space do I need for a typical inflatable?

Please see the dimension listed on the product page for each inflatable rental item. You’ll need at least 3-5 feet additional behind the inflatable to allow room for the flexible air tube. Be sure to consider the height of the inflatable since tree limbs and other obstructions could get in the way.

Can I set up the inflatable on a concrete pavement?

Yes, however, it is highly advisable to set it up on grass if possible. If you must set it up on concrete, we will secure the inflatable with sand bags rather than stakes and place a tarp underneath it to protect it.

What are the power requirements?

The inflatable also needs to be set up within 75 feet of a power outlet, since longer extension cords can increase the risk of fire hazard and/or damage to the blower. Please keep this in mind when making your selection and deciding where to place your rental from us. We do have generators for rent if you need power and don’t have it available within 75 feet.

Can I set up the inflatable anywhere in my yard? Does it have to be on grass?

It is best to set up our inflatables on a grassy area in case kids slip getting into or out of the inflatable so they’ll land on softer ground. It also gives us a way to stake down the inflatable in windy conditions. The ground should be as level as possible, otherwise, kids might end up bouncing down-hill and bumping into each other. Be sure the area is clean with no sharp objects such as sticks, rocks, toys and of course any pet droppings should be cleaned up prior to our delivery.
